On November 20, 2016, in the restaurant "Dve Liri" in Resen was successfully conducted thematic meeting supported by "Mobility Macedonia", and in cooperation with the municipality of Resen. The purpose of the meeting was to summarize the preliminary results of the joint project of "Mobility Bitola" and Resen, supported by UNDP, for providing services to people with disabilities of qualified unemployed people through the Employment Agency - Resen, within which 40 people with various disabilities received services from eight providers.
The meeting was organized by "Mobility Bitola", and the audience was addressed by the Mayor of Resen, Dr Djoko Strezovski and President of "Mobility Macedonia", Mr. Branimir Jovanovski, noting that this approach is a pioneering step. Mayor Strezovski promised further and even more successful cooperation with "Mobility Bitola" and "Mobility Macedonia", whose president welcomed the approach and the ongoing cooperation and expressed the commitment of "Mobility Macedonia" to expand in all areas in accordance with rights contained in the UN Convention, which our country ratified in 2011.
In the professional part of the meeting two papers were presented, and the first one was an introduction by analyzing sampling of prim. Dr. Nico Jankov, president of "Mobility Bitola". In his speech, analyzing the responses of the three groups - consumers, service providers and citizens, he came to interesting conclusions that are yet to trace the ways and extent of cooperation and performance of activities. The next topic was the President of "Mobility Macedonia", Mr. Branimir Jovanovski, which included vocational rehabilitation and personal assistance, research and conclusions of the ongoing project of "Mobility Macedonia".
All in all, a good basis for discussion of several discussants, and all the others who were already prepared, as in the preparation of the meeting was made a flyer and poster as a starting point for reflection and discussion. Thus once again it proved that this approach raises the capacity of disability organizations.
