The company "EUROTEC" was founded in 1989 and deals with the management of grants often related to the needs of persons with disabilities.
This time, through cooperation with the heads of the Institute and Museum - Bitola, Dipl. Eng. Arch. Representatives of the "EUROTEK" were Mr. Dimitris Rossakis, director and Dr. Sophia Karakosta, a sociologist and cultural management expert, and representatives of "Mobility Bitola" were the President prim. Dr. Nico Yankov, member of Board - Fance Georgievska and Ivona Jankova as an English-Macedonian translator.
After the introduction and transfer greetings from the President of the National Confederation of Persons with Disabilities R. Greece, Mr. Yannis Vardakastanis, our interlocutors informed us about the possibility of receiving a cross-border grant - thematic tourism promotion and providing accessibility of the cultural heritage of Macedonia and Greece, in close cooperation with the institutions and museums of Bitola and Thessaloniki and beyond. It is expected the agreement to be signed soon, and the Director of the Museum of Bitola agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation and advisory opinions to overcome architectural barriers in the museum.
This meeting opened up new perspectives on old initiatives of "Mobility Bitola" to expand cooperation with Korca, Albania, and perhaps together with Thessaloniki, Greece. We expect more of these promising events.
