In Bitola, on the main streetShiroksokak, in front of the Magaza and in the Cultural Center - Bitola, it was successfully performed a combined event jointly organized by "Mobility Bitola", Institute and Museum – Bitola, Cultural Center – Bitola, "Mobility Macedonia" and "Medicus Help" from Skopje. The main idea of this project was accessibility of cultural heritage. Our commitment is to turn them into practical and viable reality for all of us.
On June 12, 2016, at 10 am at the "Magnolia square", the media coveredour event and promotion of the collaboration to achieve our goals. Immediately after the statements to the media, professionals of "Medicus Help" presented aids for overcoming barriers such as mounting pad,which left a favorable impression on the audience. Later wecontinued with the traditional Parade on Main Street in order to inform the public about our position and goals.
The main part of the event was a workshop on "Access to cultural heritage", held in the small hall of the Cultural Center - Bitola. Opening statements had the president of "Mobility Bitola", prim. Dr. Niko Jankov, and expert presentations followed by the President of "Mobility Macedonia", Mr. Branimir Jovanovski and program director of the Institute and Museum - Bitola, Dr. Irena Ruzin. Another significant moment of this workshop wasthe signing a memorandum of cooperation between our association and the Institute and Museum - Bitola.
With this, "Mobility Bitola" is reexperiencing strong affirmation for support in achieving statutory objectives, and we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for the support of the Municipality of Bitola and President of the Council, Prof. Dr. Silvana Angelevska, director of the Institute and Museum - Bitola, Mr. Zoran Altiparmakovski, director of the Cultural Center – Bitola, Mr. Borce Dimitrovski, Director of "Medicus Help" from Skopje, Slobodanka Handziska and certainly the president of "Mobility Macedonia" and the NCP, Mr. Branimir Jovanovski.
