After applying for an EU project in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, "Improvement of the Social inclusion - personal assistance", a training for providers of these services was held on April 5th and 6th in the hotel "Capri" in Bitola, in the presence of trainers from the EU office, representatives of the municipality, the Center for Social Work and Employment Agency as well as users and their assistants.
The trainings titled "Personal assistance to live, work and joy" were divided into two sessions. Clearly interested, the representatives of "Mobility Bitola" actively participated with questions sharing their thoughts on the matter, as did their assistants. The next day, after the training, we summarised the informations and guidances for the givers of personal assistance.
We welcome the beginning of this project, and we hope that with the maximum involvement of all participants we will successfully complete this activity, like many others before. For the next steps and cooperation with the EU office will inform you soon.
