Civic Resource Center and Open Partnership - Government of the Republic of Macedonia

On May 10, 2018, a conference organized by the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) and the Ministry of Information Society and Administration and AD "Plus" was held at the Council of the Municipality of Bitola, with the support of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Macedonia and the United States. Many civic associations were invited at the conference (Bitola has about 450), and a delegation of "Mobility Bitola" was among the representatives of the two dozen associations who attended the event. The introduction was made by Emina Nuredinoska, mediator from MCIC, and the speaker was Valentina Atanasovska. The basis of Civic Resource Centers is to work to improve information, goals and the environment. To accomplish this, trainings, support and grants are needed. In the discussion there were also constructive remarks that we hope will find their place in the schemes in the future. Also, it is important to increase the number of offices, which are now 3 (Skopje, Shtip and Gostivar). In her presentation, Gordana Gapic Dimitrovska from the Ministry of Information Society talked about the guidelines of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia that are planned in the future and the dynamics of their realization were presented. We hope that the proclaimed partnership will become reality in thefuture, like Emi Bennett of the US National Archives said.
