On September 20, 2018, in the Millennium Hotel in Bitola, talks were held on the civil sector's thinking about the upcoming referendum. The call was organized by the Coalition "Together FOR EUROPEAN MACEDONIA", and the mayor of the Municipality of Bitola, Natasha Petrovska with her team was also present at the meeting. Representatives of about 40 non-governmental organizations were also present and discussed with very interesting approaches. The general impression is that the civil sector is for going to the polls and vote for each one according to their own conscience. Prior to the talks, information material from the Prespa Agreement was distributed, elaborated point by point. In the end it was concluded that such meetings should be more frequent, and that the local government should use the potential at its disposal. This is especially important with the increased opportunities for using EU funds and joint grants with the local government.
