On September 25, 2019, organized by the YCC Bitola and the Municipality of Bitola with the LESC, a debate on the internship law was organized and successfully conducted. Fourth month after its adoption and moderated by Zlatko Talevski, with a rich and productive discussion from all sides (business sector, Employment Agency, ICF, municipality, NGOs, high school students, faculties) the basic measures of the law were given. Representatives of Mobility Bitola (Niko, Lydia, Sotir) also actively participated in the event. It is worth mentioning the internship is up to 6 months, for people 15-34 years old, available budget is from 80-100.000 denars, the fee is 42-74% (from 12,508 denars). There is no protective mechanism in the relationship (intern, employer, rights and obligations). Less than a thousand people are currently employed by the Employment Service Agency. It is essential to understand that internships are aimed at acquiring skills for future employment, not automatic employment. Activities continue.
