After a long period of uncertainty and delays due to pandemic conditions, the project in partnership with internationally renowned and experienced players from the Hellenic Republic, on 8 April 2021, an international grant from the IPA program was approved. "Alter Trip" - or alternative travel - is a cross-border cooperation project to facilitate and enable people with disabilities and mobility difficulties to have greater access to natural and cultural treasures on both sides of the border. The border should not be an obstacle for movement and accessibility, and all positive practices and experiences should be applied in the largest possible percentage and be the basis for continuous development supported by local and state governments. We hope that with all our efforts we will be able to encourage the development and overcoming and disappearance of barriers. We invite you all to join us in this great humane gesture, where visions will open for people with disabilities and unprecedented opportunities for prosperity and a better and more humane life.
