On April 1, 2022, the Municipal Council for Social Protection (MCSP) organized a workshop in the hall of the Bitola Municipality Council on the occasion of the International Day of People with Autism - April 2. At the workshop, the "Center for supporting the learning of children with disabilities in the elementary school Gjorgi Sugarev" was presented, and the attendees were greeted by the mayor, prim. Dr. Toni Konjanovski, while the opening speech was given by the director of the elementary school Gjorgi Sugarev, M.Sc. Robert Filipovski. "Mobility Bitola" was represented by the member of MCSP - Fanche Georgievska. The current situation, cooperation with the institutions, teaching in special classes, special education office, sensory integration office and speech therapy office were discussed according to the agenda. Dr. Aneta Hristova - special educator, Sonja Trajkovska - special educator, Jasmina Jankovska - special educator, Marija Jovanovska - sensory integration and Aneta Georgievska - speech therapist stood out in the presentations. With the presentations and discussions, a step forward was made in this issue. We welcome all efforts for more successful work in the integration of people with disabilities, and "Mobility Bitola" will continue to support all efforts in this sphere.
