NATO Donation of sports equipment for "Mobility Bitola

On 06/05/2014, in the sports hall of the Community of disability organizations in CSW Bitola was held a donor event organized by the NATO Military Representative Office of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Macedonia to NATO grant (project) of "NATO Charity Bazaar", backed by "Gauss Institute" - Foundation for new technologies, innovation and knowledge transfer from Bitola. The donation contains several elements such as two handle multi exercises with weights, stationary bike, two bags for boxing training, exercise three balls, three basketball s , two football and two volleyball balls, lifting weights, and procurement and electronic target computer as well as other minor things that are expected to arrive soon.

Before the event, the president of "Mobility Bitola" , Prim . Dr. Niko Jankov gave a statement for the media with emphasis on the importance of such projects. In the presence of the Military Representative to NATO in Macedoni a , General Branko Dragalski and two officers of the Army of Republic of Macedonia, a statement was also given by the general's wife , Mrs. Violeta Dragalska who participated most actively in receiving the donation. She said that the application of "Gauss Institute" as a strategic partner of "Mobility Bitola" was accepted and entered into competition with thirteen grants last year, as was awarded to disability and other international NGOs. She expressed readiness for any future cooperation and lobbying until they can help in this way.

As an active participant and creator of practical application and lobbying in Brussels , professor Dr. Igor Nedelkovski along with NATO members over the military representative to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Macedonia to NATO , also expressed support for “Mobility Bitola” . Then, the director of "Gauss Institute", MA Alexandra Lozanovska officially handed over the sports . The event was documented by the media, including local television s "Terra" and "Orbis" .

Our members had the opportunity to immediately try out the new elements which practically started their use. By filling in the number of all donated sports equipment , the handing over procedure will be disclosed and a record with all other materials will be sent to Brussels. In this way, "Mobility Bitola" along with its strategic partner "Gauss Institute" , established itself in the area of the European Union, gathered experience working on projects that are desirable at this time. We hope that this kind of cooperation will open positive and upward trends in achievement of program objectives and statutory "Mobility Bitola" and "Mobility Macedonia". New activities will soon follow.
