As usual, the members of "Mobility Bitola" traditionally celebrate the International Women's Day, March 8. About thirty members celebrated the holiday on March 6 in "Villa Grand", where they enjoyed the pleasant conversations and music in a relaxed atmosphere, and flowers were given to all the ladies, although it is acknowledged that we need to show that we care about them throughout the year, even without flowers.
Flowers as a symbol of beauty is a custom from ancient times when the commemorations on March 8 did not even exist. The events of more than a century ago, caused by the oppression of women, lead to traumatic events, and in its center was the well known Rosa Luxemburg, who paved the way for equal rights of women at all levels of life.
Now we join this trend in building more beautiful and relaxed way of life, with equalization and realization of all rights contained in the UN Convention and the legislation to accompany this trend within a reasonable timeframe. Happy International women’s day, health and happiness to all!
