On September 7, 2018, in the sports hall of ZIO in Bitola, a tribune for self-employment of persons with disabilities was successfully organized by UNDP, MLSP and the Employment Agency. Members of"Mobility Bitola", as well as members of the Association of the Blind and the Association of the Deaf, were also present at the debate, for which an interpreter was provided. Presenter of the hour-and-a-half-long event was Naum Tashovski from UNDP with the following members: Vangel Turkalyanov (MLSP), Maria Trifunovska (national coordinator in UDNP) and Yeshin Seyfulovska (director of the Employment Agency). Tashovski explained all the rights and obligations of future applicants, then followed a discussion with questions and answers, which at times had an emotional charge and went out of the scope of the topic. We think that such events are still effective, and the organizer may have to invite representatives of the local government. The use of the term "people with special needs" was notable, rather than persons with disabilities.
