Mobility Bitola at the panel discussion of PORAKA

On April 2, 2019 in the small hall of the Cultural Center in Bitola a panel discussion was organized by The Republic Center for Support of Persons with Intellectual Disability – PORAKA as part of the project supported by the National Council of Disability Organisations in Macedonia, MIM, MDI and the European Union. For justified reasons, the Secretary General, Dr. Vasilka Dimoska and the program manager, Vlado Krstovski, did not attend. In the presence of many volunteers, activists and guests, the event was opened and led by prof. Biljana Gramatkovska from the Faculty of Education in Bitola and President Julijana Trajcevska. The basic motto was "We Can and We Want to Sing", as part of the project "Disability is a matter of perception". This is one of the bigger activities of the Center for persons with intellectual disability. Among the panelists were Marija Mladenovska-Dimitrovska from the national high school "Taki Daskalo" – Bitola and prof. Dr. Maria Ristevska-Petrovska from the Faculty of Education, who is also the author of the textbook for inclusive teaching in pedagogy, as well as several students from the Faculty of Education and students from the primary school "Todor Angelevski" from Bitola. The event was covered by the media, so we hope it will take place in the events that will contribute to improving the general perception of the environment and the community towards people with disabilities in all spheres of life. We also hope that the institutions of the system at the state will succeed to gradually introduce all positive legal regulations that will be practiced without exception.
