The activities of MOBILITY BITOLA during these days (2nd December) were devoted to preparations for the celebration of World Day of Persons with Disabilities (3rd December) and the Day of Persons with physical disabilities in Macedonia (4th December). In this regard a delegation of mobility Bitola attended the donor exhibit of MOBILITY MACEDONIA. It was held at the Army House in Skopje, under the auspices of the President of Macedonia, Mr. Gjorgje Ivanov. The same was attended by more than 200 visitors. Besides the President of the Republic, most of the diplomatic corps in Macedonia, more government officials and representatives of non-unions and associations were present. After the introductory speech of the President of MOBILITY MACEDONIA, Mr. Branimir Jovanovski, the show declared open professor Zoran Jakimovski. The works were presented to the attendees with a convenient catalog of all creators of art works. After that, most of the attendees purchased from the exhibited works, which had the objective of the donor exhibit. (Photos attached)
The next day, 3 December in cooperation with community disability organizations, the Center for Social Affairs and Special School Centre "Kotcho Ratzin", Bitola and support of the Lions Club of Bitola, joint presentation of the activities of persons with disabities was realized. The special occasion was the opening of the renovated sports hall of community disability organizations located in the Center for Social Work in Karposh. It was renovated by the Municipality of Bitola (financial support) and a delegation from the Council of the Municipality of Bitola, led by Mr. Zlatko Milosevski. In the presence of written and an electronic media interviews were given by Mitko Fidanovski - president of community disability organizations, Dr. Nico Jankov - president of mobility BITOLA, Zlatko Milosevski - Coordinator of the Group of VMRO DPMNE Council of the Municipality of Bitola, Violeta Gadzhovska - Director of the Centre for Social Affairs, representatives of the Lions Club and other guests. At this event, by the Lions Club was donated motor trolley for our member Simona Jovevska. All activities were accompanied by the children with special needs from the center "Kotcho Ratzin", other citizens passers and Lions Club provided sandwiches and drinks for everyone that in our judgment were about 200. It should be mentioned that this event was attended by guests from the neighboring Republic. Greece, more precisely from Florina. We hope that these and similar events will be held in the future for mutual satisfaction.
