Again this year, MOBILITY BITOLA held a traditional parade on Wide Street. We reactivated and continued the campaign for ratification and implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. This is the fourth time we organize a parade for the same thing. For 4 years we animate the public and the Government about the necessity of ratifying the Convention. The support from local government is present through the mayor, Mr. Vladimir Taleski, who is present in all our events. And this year, despite the busy agenda, he found time to join us and manifest solidarity and lobbying. Lobbying was showed by Macedonian Scientific Society of Bitola and the Lions Club - Heraclea. Besides the Mayor, the event was traditionally sponsored by Medicus Help, and this year OMR Ortho - Bitola. Welcome to all who share our thoughts and aspirations.
The second part of the activities was in the little hall of the Center of culture. With a small introduction by the President of which was preceded by an introduction to the wonderful music of Mozart performed by prof. Dr. Mary Kavkaleska – Stoilkova, mediators Dr. Katerina Josifovska, MA Sasho Kochankovski and Tomche Najdovski. It was a striking experience for visitors and guests from several associations from Macedonia, including the president of MOBILITY Macedonia, Branimir Jovanovski and General Secretary Sofche Prcheva. Impressions ended with yet another piano performance, after which they were awarded prizes and plaques of appreciation from esteemed ensemble "Phoenix."
After this, all together we set off at the restaurant "Korzo" to complete this impressive and exciting meeting which will remain in memory.
