Today, representatives of several disability organizations held the traditional Parade on Shirok sokak (Wide street)
in Bitola, this year under the motto: "Together for the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities." The event is
usually supported by the Mayor of Bitola, Mr. MA Vladimir Taleski. Initially, in front of the members, statements were given by prim.
Dr. Nico Yankov - president of MOBILITY Bitola, Mr. Branimir Jovanovski - President of the National Coordinating Body for equal
opportunities for persons with disabilities and MOBILITY Macedonia, and prof. Dr. Silvana Angelevska - Chairman of the Council of the Municipality of Bitola. Despite the auspices of the Mayor,
this time the event is in cooperation with the Center for orthotics and prosthetics JSC "Slavej" from Skopje. Followed by several TV crews and journalists, the Parade began
from the square "Magnolia" to the hotel "Epinal".
The next part of the activities was a workshop organized by JSC "Slavej" The members of the disability organizations were informed about
the latest advancements in prosthetics and orthotics under the motto "Towards a better life." Then followed the last part - video presentation about the development of MOBILITY Bitola
from the beginning to present day, awards and acknowledgments were given, and then followed by the musical performance of the music ensemble "Phoenix."
All this was happening in the usual location, the restaurant "Be-Ni Fountain" in Bistrica.
MOBILITY Bitola expresses gratitude to all who attended the event, members of Bitola, Resen and Demir Hisar and members of Skopje, Kumanovo, Shtip, Radovish, Kochani, Kavadarci, Prilep and Ohrid.
