The President of Mobility Bitola, prim. Dr. Nico Yankov, who is also a member of the commission for categorization and the commission for mobility in Clinical Hospital Bitola, at the invitation of the Office of UNICEF in Skopje and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, together with Dr. Omer Sulejman - Head of Department of Mental Health and the commission for categorization and professor. Dr. Saso Kochankovski - chief in office and professor at the Faculty of Pedagogy at the Slavic University of Bitola attended the workshop on "Revision of the process of categorization of persons with disabilities." Introduction to the topic made Head of Department of MLSP, MA Slobodanka Lazova Zdravkovska and draft code assessment was exposed as a proposal from the international expert from Zurich, Switzerland - prof. Dr. Judith Holenveger.
The workshop was led by a representative from the office of UNICEF, Ms. Olympia Grozdanovska and attended by delegations from the Commission for categorization from Skopje, the association of special educators, Office of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, Centres for Social Work and the Institute for Special Education. Our delegation was the first to begin the discussion and actively participated until the end. According the impressions, the conclusions should be directed toward developing a model that would meet our specifications, and it all has to be done before 2015, when is the final term for revisions.
