Mobility Bitola on a  trip to Smilevo

On August 25th 2013, thirty members of the Mobility Bitola went on one-day trip to the legendary village of Smilevo. This event was part of the activities of the association and started with history class divided into two stages. The lecture was held by the famous historian and proffesor MA Jovan Kochankovski, who with his long pedagogical practice and knowledge especially in this region (being born there), captured the history of the XV century until Ilinden and post - Ilinden period to the creation of the Macedonian state .
The first part was held at the monument of Dame Gruev, and the second in the Museum in the village. Watching everything shown there, we could imagine the Smilevo Congress and the sequence of events related to the legendary uprising. In other parts of the museum we saw the continuation of the revolutionary struggle of the Macedonian people with new figures that bear the names of Dame, Goce, Pere, Gjorche, Pitu, Karev and others, as well as famous units of the new fighters who made the birth of the Macedonian state. Then weenjoyed our lunch followed by music, so we finished this impressive event that will stay in our memory . Thanks to Professor Jovan Kochankovski, who conveyed us his sermon at the time of both Ilinden. We went home with another wonderful experience .
