Celebration of the 30th anniversary

On December 4, 2016, "Mobility Macedonia" celebrated its jubilee - 30 years of work, and a celebration organized by the "Mobility Bitola" was held at the restaurant "Dve Liri" in Resen. In the presence of 150 members of our associations and other cities of Macedonia and guests from Israel, the president of "Mobility Bitola", prim. Dr. Nico Yankov opened the event, and the Mayor of Resen, Dr Djoko Strezovski, addressed the guests noting that he will continue to support all initiatives and activities of "Mobility Macedonia", including the current, very successful project for community service which contributes to greater integration of people with disabilities in all spheres of social life.
Mr. Branimir Jovanovski addressed the achievements and successes over the last 30 years, as well as future plans to achieve equal rights for all our citizens, especially in terms of availability of orthopedic aids. Within the celebrations were held this year's literary meetings, and the participants were awarded prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The second part of the event was a performance of the theater play entitled "For Balance In The World," directed by our prominent member Sotir Chaushevski and written by our poet and writer Biljana Todorovska. Students from primary schools in Resen together with their friends with special needs told the story of three friends Maryan, Mary and Maya, reminding us that even though we are different, we are still the same and that "we are here for balance in the world!"
Our guests from Israel, Mr. Amir Goichman, project manager of the Center for Development and Cooperation within the Israeli Agency for International Cooperation and Development "Mashav" and his wife Nili Goichman, who are willing to share their experiences, successful technology and methodology in all aspects of life for persons with any disability as an integral part of the community, were amazed by the whole event and we hope that this is just the beginning of a wonderful cooperation. The celebration would not be complete without songs and dances, and at the end the guests enjoyed the great music and pleasant conversation that lasted until late afternoon. All in all, an appropriate celebration of this great jubilee of "Mobility Macedonia", and we hope to celebrate the next one with even more numerous battles as equal citizens of our country.
