Within the 33 Republic sports games of the persons with physical disabilities of N. Macedonia, on June 13, 2021 at the shooting range Bej Bunar in Ohrid, the state championship in shooting for athletes with disabilities of the Republic of North Macedonia was held. The competition organized by the Paralympic Committee of North Macedonia was attended by 12 athletes with physical disabilities and 7 athletes with hearing impairments, who competed in their categories in the disciplines rifle and pistol - mix. Among the participants were our members Olivera Nakovska-Bikova, Mendo Divjakovski, Nikola Stanoevski and Nikola Gjurovski, who achieved excellent results. Namely, Olivera triumphed in the category of air pistol mix (men and women), Divjakovski and Stanoveski won the 5th and 7th place in the air rifle SH1, and Gjurovski without competition achieved great success in the category of air rifle SH2. Winning the state championship is a great warm-up for Olivera, for the upcoming Paralympic Games that will be held from August 25 to September 6 in Tokyo, and we hope that she will be crowned with another gold medal. Judges of the match were Valentina Godzovska (rifle), Branimir Jovanovski (gun) and Dragan Dojchinoski, and the match passed in a fair and sporty atmosphere. Funds for holding this competition were provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the Agency for Youth and Sports.
